Ah, what a fine spring day. The weather was nice - bright and breezy, at just the right temperature, too. The softly shifting sand was a relief to Friction's wander-weary paws, and the cool sea air refreshing to her senses. A gull's cry echoed overhead as a wave crashed, creeping up to lap at the shore. An upward glance told her that a thin layer of clouds had been brushed across the sky, leaving gaps of bright blue in between. It seemed the young she-wolf was alone - it was just her, the sun, and the sand.
Friction picked up speed, her movements smooth and graceful as always. She was pleasing to watch, much like a dancer, and she seemed perfectly at ease. This balance was something that came naturally to her, something she'd had since the day she was born, and needless to say, it had helped her in the past. Friction's body was slender and lean, but not necessarily muscular, and she lacked brute strength, but she made up for it with grace and agility.
After creating a trail of paw prints, the female slowed to a jog and finally a walk. Her intense jade eyes were cast out over the ocean, watching as the sun sank gradually below the horizon, sending a pink and orange glow over the sky. The tide was rising, and in few minutes the salty sea water was reaching for her legs. With a yawn, Friction turned and took a few strides away, sinking to her haunches to get a dry view of day turning to night.
