It could be quite possible that he was just hallucinating from lack of food. His back leg was sore, and limp from the travels, he was hungry, he was cold, and bugs were feeding off of his flesh. Not the best day in the swamp, he'd admit. But he was growing tired and Bear wasn't in the time to be meeting another animal with the intentions of making him dinner. Bear's eyes wandered the trees, and continued precautiously. The whole swamp was starting to annoy him. Don't let it get to your head, Bear. He thought to himself. Never let it get to your head. Because that's the beginning of the end. [/sub][/ul]

Slight smile was all that reflected emotion on the milky stained labrums. Others insanity, others longing, others pain brought her mislead humor and joy. She snorted, smirk vanishing into the cloud of steam that trailed from nasel vents. Optical's strayed over his interesting colororation and features. All so intresting. Never seen a damn wolf like that before She thought awkwardly in her mind, no idea of what else she had been thinking. Or planning. She didn't give a fuucking damn if this wolf's words had been directed to her. If that was so, he had most surely been yelling in the wrong direction, because she was positioned not far infront of him, sitting behind a tumble of reeds. Shaggy tufts shifted with their lobes as they swivled to abosrb his tones. Failiure. It was indeed this wolf was not so much as like her. He seemed rather...skiddish perhaps. Maybe he wouldn't try to pull some shiit ass stunt on her as others have tried. She slowly rose to her pillars, joints popping, moaning their irritation in receiving wait after a good moment of stillness. She growled to her self, left padder streching out behind her. She carelessly crashed through the yellowing weeds, eyes fixed on the lupin male.
"Damn, wolf. Learn to look at the other when speaking to them
She hissed in a sarcatic, firm tine with a harsh ting of mockery. Her lyrics were like sharp, needled shards of ice tipped with poison. Smooth, but with rare, deadly sharpness.

Bear's eyes scanned over the wolf in front of him. She was strong, quite perhaps one of the stronger femme's he'd ever seen. She wasn't bulked or muscular though. He had a feeling that her strongness was her slyness. Craftiness, sneakiness. Strongness of wit. She could handle her own in a fight. "I wasn't aware I was in your company," He retorted to the comment, "or that my words were being received by you." His tail flicked slightly, aware of the now presence before him. Maybe she'd not be interested in completely ripping him apart, and for that he'd be grateful. "Where do you come from, fae?" He asked with a curiousness. He hadn't seen a pack for miles. Perhaps she could show him that way. But by the looks of her, he wasn't sure if that was the kind of pack he wanted to be in. [/ul][/sub]

Life was headed no where. And she loved it that way. Her body was headed no where. And she loved it even more. Mind would never grow, or accept the changes of the world. And she adored knowing this, because it made her feel like her heart was still beating.
The theory of pain was rather… ignorant, had you asked September. Perhaps it did give off a negative vibe, making you look vulnerable. At times it would give off the most defeating weapon of all; tears, or screams, or anything to admit you were under crippling vanquish. But she never cried due to it; not even when she was in the younger years. No. Perhaps she had emitted a few screams here and there, though nothing close to the present. Pain soothed her mind; her body; her spirit. Gave her the impression that she was not, mark my words, developing insanity.
But now she lurked along the outskirts of a swamp, hidden from the waters through a fine amount of foliage. Soon, she heard a noise. She halted in her tracks, eyeing the scenery about her, snorting slightly to herself. What the hell? And then; two voices. Oh lovely. She heard one speak, then the other; then back to the original. Huh. Who were they?

hard, black pads took a step closer, leaving distinctable lupin prints with in the green tinted muck. The corners of her velvet labrums curled up slightly a devious smirk. Again her pedistals brought her a step closer in a teasing way.
"No where. I come from where I was last."
She snarled firmly, but slightly hinted with shame and confusion. Dial tilting slightly to the left, harks lobe tips pointing to the western sky. Her smile had faded, and her face was grim once more. Pink bnners parted her labrums and ran over them, cleaning them of nothing, spit warming them, causing the fur the shine slightly.
"Where are you from?"
She asked quietly, as if mood had long passed, but had quickly changed. Her lyrics seemed calm and dazed. This wolf seemed Bi-polar. But it truely wasn't her general nature. She stiffened, hackled prickling suddenly, eyes narrowing, the moment of sweet stillness had passed.
Opticals shot to look into the distance, harks swivling in her skull to stand firm once more in chaotic intrest. She had herd one, had sensed lupin. She barely cared, but gaze still trailed off in the distance, muzzle rising as nostrels abosrbed any scents they could.
